How is it that we walk into Target for paper towels and toothpaste only to emerge four hours later with six tops, two dresses, a set of outdoor margarita glasses and at least one copper-colored decor piece? Well, it’s not going to get any better, because Target is redoing its beauty aisles (so we’re really never going to be able to leave now).
According to WWD, the big red bull’s-eye just announced that by the end of this month, 75 stores will get more flattering lighting, easy-to-reach shelving (anyone who’s bent down to look at eyeliner near the floor will understand) and trained service associates (who can match shades and give samples). And if you happen upon NYC, check out the new Herald Square store, which has a Glow Bar from K-Beauty brand Glow Recipe and even a NYX Brow Bar. Yep, you may be able to get your brows done at Target. This. Is. Huge.
After the initial 75 stores, the updates are set to roll out in 400 more by the end of next year.
