OK, so you’ve probably already heard of the Ta-Ta Towel, a viral sensation that is literally a terry boob hammock designed to wick sweat from the area underneath your breasts and keep the girls separated and comfortable (although, how you inconspicuously wear a towel underneath clothing is beyond us).
Well, the same company has just announced a maternity version of its famous boob hammock, and it’s actually a pretty brilliant idea. The new nursing version comes complete with “overlapping fabric panels for each breast, providing easy access for nursing or pumping,” plus a drawstring halter tie for easy height and cup-size adjustment. And with no clasp or closure, the added comfort of a completely fabric bosom holder is pretty innovative (once you get past the name). But the most ingenious part, of course, is that the terry fabric absorbs all that leaked milk that inevitably starts dribbling three hours after your last feed.
Want to give one a try? The new version of the Ta-Ta Towel will be available online on March 22.
