‘Euphoria’ Star Sydney Sweeney Rocks New Red Hair and a Huge Ring on *That* Finger

Could there be wedding bells in Sydney Sweeney’s future?

The Euphoria star and her boyfriend, Jonathan Davino, recently sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted with a diamond ring on that very special finger. This past Monday, the 24-year-old actress was photographed in Los Angeles rocking a red hairdo with a pink hoodie, black leggings and brown UGG boots.

In one photo (exclusively obtained by PageSix), The Handmaid’s Tale alum is conversing with a friend and proceeds to position her hand next to her mouth, revealing the shiny rock on her ring finger.

Although Sweeney did not address the engagement rumors, she did explain the reason behind her new ‘do. The young actress has traded in her blonde locks for a bright, red look for a new movie, National Anthem. She is set to play Penny Jo Poplin.

Yesterday, the HBO star shared a photo of herself as Penny Jo on Instagram. A newly red-haired Sweeney wore a red headscarf with white polka dots. While gazing into the distance, she donned a multi-colored plaid shirt. Sweeney captioned the photo with her character’s name.

Per E! News, Sweeney started dating the restaurateur in 2018. Not much is known about the couple, given the fact that they keep their relationship private.

However, the pair have appeared together in public on certain occasions. For example, Jonathan was spotted with Sweeney at an InStyle and Kate Spade dinner back in October 2018.

In November 2020, the couple was photographed showing a little PDA on a romantic trip to Hawaii, which sent the internet into a frenzy.

But, we need the story behind that diamond ring now, Sweeney.
