Third time’s (hopefully) a charm for the Hawkins National Laboratory.
Netflix confirmed today that the Stranger Things gang will return to the mysterious town of Hawkins, Indiana, for a third season.
If you’re thinking, That sounds oddly familiar, then you’re not alone. Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer (aka the Duffer brothers) previously revealed that they envision the series running its course over four seasons. “We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” Ross said. But at the time, Netflix hadn’t officially renewed the show.
While no details on a premiere date or storyline have been released, we think Jim Hopper (David Harbour) and Steve Harrington’s (Joe Keery) unexpected love triangle could be an, er, interesting starting point.
