These days, we’d rather sit in bed on our laptop than step foot inside a mall…especially if it means schlepping to the store with a hangry toddler for a pre-K appropriate outfit they’ll outgrow in exactly one month.
Fortunately, the personal styling service Stitch Fix just launched a kids version, meaning little Timmy can get outfitted in up to 12 items from name brands with sizes ranging from 2T to 14. And everything in the box will cost between $10 to $35, so you’re not breaking the bank at the expense of convenience, either.
Just fill out a Style Profile for your little one, then let him or her count down the days ’til the package arrives at your doorstep. Based on your selections (sporty? dressy? playground-proof?), Stitch Fix’s personal stylists will handpick and send items from a variety of the 50 brands they partner with, from TOMS and Hanna Andersson to Nike and Under Armour (plus their own exclusive Stitch Fix kids’ brand, Rumi + Ryder).
If all the clothes fit, you can keep them and get a 25 percent discount. Anything that doesn’t fit, just send back. The service covers shipping both ways and doesn’t require a membership, so you don’t have to worry about canceling after a couple months.
Finally, an excuse to avoid Gymboree at all costs. (Sorry, Timmy.)
