Just when we thought our hearts couldn’t handle another emotional episode of This Is Us, Sterling K. Brown swooped in to change our mind.
In honor of tonight’s episode, titled “The Graduates,” the 42-year-old actor shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram, featuring his character and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) looking surprisingly happy.
He captioned the post, “We’re back this week, fam! And every week until the season 3 finale!”
This season hasn’t been easy on Randall and Beth’s marriage. It all started when Randall agreed to run for city council, promising he’d back out if Beth no longer supported him. When she asked him to drop out of the race, Randall revealed that he couldn’t let his people down, which resulted in some serious tension among the usually cordial couple.
The most recent episode introduced us to Beth’s backstory, including her mom’s role in making her quit dance. While leaked photos hinted at a potential vow renewal, these pics are exactly what we needed.
This Is Us returns tonight, March 5, at 9 p.m. on NBC.
