Sterling K. Brown Reacted to His Emmy Nominations in the Most Randall Way

Yesterday, after a standard emotional day of shooting This Is Us, Sterling K. Brown (Randall) received some exciting news: He was nominated for not one, but two Emmys.

The actor channeled Randall on Super Bowl Sunday in a video of himself thanking the Television Academy for his dual nominations (he snagged one for his guest-star role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, too). He also took a moment to express appreciation for his “dad” Milo Ventimiglia’s (Jack Pearson) Emmy nod and the show’s Outstanding Drama Series nomination, because that’s just the kinda guy he is.

Brown previously won two Emmys for his portrayal of Randall Pearson on the hit NBC show in 2017 and for his work on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story in 2016. Fingers crossed he’ll add another two statues to his mantle when the 70th Emmy Awards air on Monday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on NBC. The best part? This Is Us season three premieres just eight days later.

Our September is starting to look really busy.
