Important news for music listeners/TV fans/people who like to save money. (So, everyone.)
Spotify and Hulu are teaming up to offer a bundle subscription for Spotify Premium users. Normally, you’d pay $9.99 and $7.99 per month for Spotify and Hulu, respectively. Now you’ll have the option to pay $12.99 per month for both. Bless.
Here’s how it works: If you’re a current Spotify Premium member and new to Hulu—or canceled your subscription at least a year ago—you can sign up for a three-month trial of Hulu at $0.99 per month. (Just in time for that Handmaid’s Tale premiere, right?) After the trial period, you can decide if you want to continue with the full $12.99-per-month bundle.
Unfortunately, existing Hulu subscribers will have to make the leap to the full plan if they want to get the deal. But hey, that’s still $5 less per month. And the companies say the goal is to roll out the deal for everyone (not just current Spotify Premium members) this summer.
See you, um, never. We have some shows to watch.
