Yep, you could Google “flourless chocolate cake,” but wouldn’t it suck if the recipe didn’t turn out like Michelin-quality?
The whole premise behind a new Kickstarter called ckbk is to provide you with hundreds of thousands of chef-approved cookbook recipes that work every single time. Experts like Nigella Lawson, Yotam Ottolenghi and Fergus Henderson weighed in, so you know your cake is going to be really darn good.
You can search the database much like you would Spotify: Type in your recipe to get thousands of options. You can filter by cookbook author, diet and type of cuisine—or opt to flip through your favorite cookbook from front to back.
Other benefits? Users can share their own photos, tips and tricks for others to see, or curate their favorite recipe collections.
A flat fee of just $9 a month has us wondering: When can we hit “play”?
