LeBron James Drops New Deets About the ‘Space Jam’ Sequel (Including Logo & Title)

Everybody get up, because LeBron James is sharing all-new details about the highly anticipated Space Jam sequel.

Yesterday, the professional basketball player, 35, debuted the never-before-seen logo and title for the upcoming film, which is aptly called Space Jam: A New Legacy. The official logo features the phrase “Space Jam” surrounded by a colorful planet ring, and it makes the original 1996 movie look ancient.

James simply captioned the post, “2021.”

This isn’t the first time the athlete has teased the new Space Jam movie on Instagram. Back in 2018, his production company, SpringHill Entertainment, shared a first look at the locker room, which includes cubbies for James, Bugs Bunny, director Terence Nance and producer Ryan Coogler. Last year, the basketball player posted another photo from the set, featuring a sneak peek at his uniform.

“The Space Jam collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie,” James told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams.”

It’s game time.
