Turner wore the Louis Vuitton design on the red carpet in South Korea while promoting X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The frock featured a dramatic high neck, exposed zipper accents, a black banded waist and plenty of sparkling embellishments. But instead of pulling a full Rihanna and going bare underneath, Turner kept it demure with a second Louis Vuitton ensemble layered beneath. The striped bralette and miniskirt matching set were styled straight from the Louis Vuitton resort 2020 runway collection. She accessorized with simple black heels and slicked back hair, leaving us to wonder if her recently acquired bangs are real or not. (They could be hiding in that hair product.)
This marks yet another instance that the former Game of Thrones actor has shown us her red carpet chops since the end of the series. She recently stepped out in an early-aughts high-waisted jeans situation and then again in a ’70s-style velvet pantsuit (and aforementioned bangs). With her gelled hair and bold stripes, Turner is giving us ’80s feels with this look.
What’s next? A slinky slip dress à la every starlet of the ’90s? We'll wait.
