Cameron Monaghan Returns in New ‘Shameless’ Season 10 Trailer
This brand-new trailer for Shameless gives us a first look at the Gallagher family sans Fiona (Emmy Rossum), and it appears we’re in for one hell of a ride.
Showtime just dropped the first official teaser for season ten of the popular series, which sees the return of Ian (Cameron Monaghan). *Breaks into happy dance*
The clip opens on Debbie (Emma Kenney) taking over Fiona’s role as homemaker, saying, “Wash your own s***.”
The trailer goes on to show a montage of scenes featuring Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) graduating from military school, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) welcoming a child, and a reunion we never saw coming: Ian and Mickey Milkovich (Noel Fisher), dubbed “Gallavich.”
Although Monaghan left the series back in season nine, the actor admitted that he couldn’t say no when the producers contacted him about expanding Ian and Mickey’s story line.
“That was something that felt worth going back to,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “There’s still a lot of story to tell. We’ve never really had these characters just together in a somewhat stable environment for very long, so that’s been fun to explore.”
So, how will the boyfriends-turned-cellmates handle their new life in prison? Guess we’ll have to wait until season ten of Shameless hits Showtime on Sunday, November 3.
