Surf's up!
It appears that Shakira has been spending her free time catching waves with her two kids, Milan (8) and Sasha (6). The “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” singer shared a couple of rare photos on her Instagram that give a glimpse of her lookalike children.
“Guess who I brought to the @wavegarden_official!” Shakira said in the caption, referring to the company that offers surfing lagoons for practice. The photos she posted were snapped by ocean photographer Gorka Ezkurdia.
In the photo, Shakira's sons are seen wearing navy blue and red wetsuits (that we think Spider-Man would approve of) and they're captured sitting next to their mom in front of a gorgeous hilly landscape. Shakira is seen sporting bright red sweatpants and a green sweatshirt.
But that wasn't the only photo the singer shared. Ezkurdia also managed to caption a beautiful mother-son moment, which Shakira shared on her account saying, “Milan is starting to really enjoy this!” The photo shows the mom holding up her oldest son while standing in the water.
While Milan is enjoying surfing, it seems his little brother, Sasha, will soon enough become a pro. Back in June, Shakira had posted a shot of Sasha with his two surfing instructors at a Wavegarden lagoon. “Sasha with his friends and teachers Kai and Hans after his first surf lesson,” she wrote in the caption.
The singer has even been getting in some surfing for herself, which she showed on her account and said, “Thanks to my friends at @wavegarden_official for two days of perfect waves.”
Bonding with her kids by taking surfing lessons together? Talk about a cool mom.
