Serena Williams and Daughter Channel Their Inner ‘Belles’ in Sweet New Video

Not only is she one of the greatest athletes of all time, a successful businesswoman and a talented fashion designer, but she also has some pretty impressive vocal cords, as proven by her latest video with daughter Alexis Olympia.

On Thursday, the 38-year-old shared a video of herself and her 2-year-old daughter performing a duet of Beauty and the Beast’s hit song, “Belle.” The best part? They were wearing matching gold ballgowns, just like the princess does in the hit Disney film.

In the clip, the duo sing and dance around the living room (at one point Williams even steps up onto the couch) while the music plays in the background. “Keeping busy,” she captioned the post. And while the clip itself is sweet, we couldn’t help but focus in on William’s singing. Put the volume on high and listen for yourself.

Not surprisingly, the footage quickly gained lots of attention, with over two million views and 16 thousand comments, including one from Serena’s sister Venus. "I love her so much!!!...but why is the mom also in a princess dress???" she quipped.

Alexis Olympia is the only daughter of Williams and her hubby Alexis Ohanian. During a candid interview over the weekend, the couple opened up about William’s personal experience as a Black woman in America and Ohanian’s decision to give up his seat as a Reddit board member to be replaced with a person of color.

“I thought about what those dollars could do for a community that has clearly suffered for far too long, and that I—with my power and my influence and my privilege—want to do something meaningful to start to show a change. To make a better world for Olympia,” he said, referring to his 2-year-old daughter.

Yup, the Williams-Ohanians are officially our new favorite fam.
