First, it was Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe. Then it was Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber. And now, Serena Williams and Alexis Olympia are solidifying their role as one of our favorite mother-daughter duos.
Yesterday, the professional tennis player, 39, posted a tropical slideshow on her personal Instagram account, featuring herself and Olympia wearing sassy matching swimsuits.
In the first photo, Williams and Olympia are holding hands and standing next to a pool, which has a gorgeous view of the water. They’re wearing matching one-piece swimsuits…with a personal twist. While Williams’s swimsuit says, “The Shady One,” Olympia is donning the “Wild Child” version.
The second picture is extremely similar to the first. But instead of looking directly at the camera, Olympia is distracted by something in the distance. Perhaps her dad, Alexis Ohanian, was cheering her on in the background?
Williams captioned the post, “The Shady One and the Wild Child, together we’re unstoppable.”
In the comments section, fans couldn’t help but gush over the mommy-daughter duo. One follower wrote, “Wow she’s gotten so big and beautiful like her mom.” Someone added, “Look at her sticking her little foot out. So cuuuuuuute.” Another chimed in: “Oh my God [heart emoji] My girls!!!! Please frame this!!!!”
We have to give Williams props for getting a 3-year-old to stand still for this poolside photo shoot.
