The internet collectively oohed and aahed over Serena Williams and baby Alexis Olympia’s mommy-daughter Gatorade ad yesterday, but not all is as it appears.

The baby Williams nuzzles in the video is actually a baby body double, according to a statement released by the sports drink company.

A spokesperson for the brand revealed that Williams intended for the ad to be Alexis Olympia’s first modeling gig, but her “daughter was under the weather and unable to be on set.”

In the new ad, titled “Sisters in Sweat,” Williams cuddles the impostor baby and offers her the following advice: “Baby girl, I won’t mind if you play tennis badly. I won’t mind if you choose to never pick up a racket. But I beg you, in this game of life, please keep playing no matter what.”

Body doubles: They’re not just for action films.
