In between tennis gigs, Serena Williams is quite the busy (and jet-setting) lady.
Case in point: Last week she was the woman of the (royal) hour, swooping in to host bestie Meghan Markle's secret baby shower in New York City. Just a handful of days later, she's nearly 2,500 miles away from Manhattan presenting at the 91st annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
We gotta say, as far as presenter roles go, she had the best gig: Williams got to introduce A Star Is Born, one of the Best Picture nominees and a fan favorite to win, thanks to epic performances by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
Her opening line? “When we're young, we all have dreams we want to accomplish in life. Having the dream is easy, making it come true is hard.”
