She captioned the post, “Did it again @bangbangnyc [butterfly emoji] Rare.”
Gomez designed the new tat in collaboration with Bang Bang Tattoo Shop, which is located in New York City. The store is also responsible for the singer’s upper thigh tattoo, which features prayer hands.
Gomez just dropped Rare last Friday, which includes catchy tracks like “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now.” It’s the first new music we’ve heard since the singer underwent a kidney transplant back in 2017. Since then, she’s been keeping a low profile and working on her physical and mental health.
In a recent interview with People, Gomez discussed Rare and revealed that it represents her journey. “Every song on the record has some sort of emotion or conflict or there’s something going on,” she said. “I related to everything on this record very, very clearly.”
Talk about a rare sight. (Sorry, had to.)
