Selena Gomez Shared New Golden Hour Selfie (Which Garnered Over 5 Million Likes in Less Than 24 Hours)

As the fifth-most followed account on Instagram, Selena Gomez certainly knows how to make a splash when she shares a new post. And with her latest photo, the Only Murders in the Building actress kept it simple with a sunset shot, which quickly gained over 5 million likes in a matter of 24 hours.

In the photo, Gomez is seen standing on her back porch, leaning against the frame of a screen door, where she is illuminated by the golden hour lighting (always the perfect time to snap a few gorgeous pics). She captioned the photo, “Thought this was cute.”

Thanks to the Instagram account @outfitsbyselenax, we learned that the 29-year-old was captured wearing a silk Aveline Gown from Ulla Johnson in the magnolia color (which you can get here for $1,095). Gomez paired the ruched gown with a landry fauxchet cardi from Free People (available for $98) and 2" brass Samira hoops from Jennifer Fisher ($500).

Gomez wasn't the only one who thought the photo was cute though. 13 Reasons Why actress Tommy Dorfman responded to the caption and said, “Thought RIGHT,” while actress and singer Gelsea Mae called her a “queen” and said, “Literally glowing.”

Gomez has posted a number of winning solo shots recently. Only a few weeks back, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer uploaded a selfie that showed off a totally new hairdo, which she captioned, “New hair who dis?” In the snap, followers could see that Gomez had traded in her usual long locks for a short, wavy bob with bangs. She also sported a gorgeous black blouse and silver earrings.
