‘Succession’ Star Sarah Snook Secretly Married Her Best Friend

Sarah Snook just dropped a bombshell and confirmed that she’s officially off the market.

The Succession star, 33, recently sat down for an interview with Vogue Australia and revealed that she secretly tied the knot last year with her close friend, Dave Lawson. Snook explained that their relationship was strictly “platonic” for years, but that all changed when they were forced to self-isolate together during the coronavirus pandemic.

“At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I got locked down in Melbourne with one of my best mates, and we fell in love,” she told the mag.

Snook went on to describe their years-long friendship. “We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic,” she added. “We’ve just never been single at the same time.”

It didn’t take long for Snook to realize he’s “the one.” So, she got down on one knee and popped the question after a few months of dating. “I proposed, and we got married in February in my backyard,” she said.

The ceremony took place in Brooklyn last winter and featured a small guest list that included Succession co-star Ash Zukerman. Snook opted for a non-traditional outfit, featuring a vintage velvet Chloé coat and a pair of Blundstone boots. “We had matching Blunnies,” she said, referring to the groom’s shoes.

Snook also confirmed that she’s enjoying life with her new husband. “I’m on this farm with Dave in nature, and I’m like, ‘Woo hoo,’” she continued.
