Sarah Paulson Wishes Partner Holland Taylor Happy Birthday on IG: ‘I Love You Only’

We love when celebs celebrate their partners' birthdays on Instagram—whether it's Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas celebrating their joint birthdays with rare throwbacks, or Joe Jonas trolling Sophie Turner with silly shots.

American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson decided to go for the more sentimental end, with the post she made for her partner of seven years, Holland Taylor. On Friday, Taylor celebrated her 79th birthday, which Paulson marked with a loving post on her Instagram account.

Along with a close-up shot of Taylor, Paulson wrote a caption that read: “Love of my life. The one. The only one. January 14th is my favorite day of the year- a day to unabashedly celebrate you @hollandvtaylor.” She closed by saying, “I am the luckiest of the lucky. I love you only. Happy Birthday magical poet darling.”

In response, Taylor left a gushing comment that said, “Darling, you leave me speechless... as your beauty and artistry and dearness leaves me every single day... I love you more every birthday! It doesn't seem possible, but you make it so...”

Other celebs sent their birthday wishes to the Legally Blonde actress, like Julianne Moore, who typed a bunch of red heart emojis and said, “Happy birthday @hollandvtaylor.” Minnie Driver wrote, “@hollandvtaylor Happy, happy birthday you dear thing,” while Mindy Kaling added, “Oh my goodness she is simply the best.”

In the past, Taylor has made similarly tender posts for Paulson's birthday, like the one she shared in December of 2020, where she said, “Yes, but listen- y’all have no idea...Happy Birthday to my one and only. I’m grateful you were born, @mssarahcatharinepaulson.”
