Sarah Jessica Parker Shares Rare Behind-the-Scenes Photos from ‘Sex & the City’ Reboot

In honor of the Sex and the City reboot, Sarah Jessica Parker is giving us an unofficial tour of the set.

This week, the 56-year-old actress shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram, featuring never-before-seen pics that were taken while filming And Just Like That…

The slideshow features a variety of BTS photos, which offer a rare glimpse at the set, stage lights and camera equipment. The last picture shows a side table display that includes a vintage Sex and the City book. But instead of author Candace Bushnell’s name, it says “Carrie Bradshaw” below a snapshot of Parker holding a laptop. (Clever, indeed.)

The caption doubled as a thank-you to the crew: “Backlot. Stage. Married domicile. They build. They shoot. They make sure story is heard. They make our day. X, SJ.”

And Just Like That… has been filming in New York for the past month or so. In July, HBO Max released the first image from the Sex and the City reboot, which featured Parker walking the streets of NYC alongside Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York).

A few weeks later, Parker was spotted with Chris Noth (Mr. Big), who’s also reprising his role. Per the show’s press release, And Just Like That… will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they “navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.”

Other cast members include Sara Ramírez, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler. In addition to their starring roles, Parker, Nixon and Davis will serve as executive producers alongside Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, John Melfi and Michael Patrick King.

And Just Like That… can’t come soon enough.
