Yesterday, the 53-year-old actress posted a rare, makeup-free selfie on her personal Instagram account, featuring Hayek in the pool. If only we looked half this decent with wet hair…
The pic shows Hayek posing in what appears to be a maroon one-piece bikini. We don’t know if the photo was staged or candid, but it’s clear she’s mastered the art of achieving a natural glow sans highlighter.
She captioned the post, “Agua #water #nomakeup.”
Fans immediately flooded the comments section with words of praise for Hayek’s vulnerability. One user wrote, “Wow! You should wear no makeup more often. You look stunning.” Another person commented, “Simply beautiful.” We couldn’t agree more.
This isn’t the first time Hayek has flaunted her flawless complexion. Last month, the actress appeared in People’s “Beautiful Issue” and posed for a makeup-free photoshoot.
“I used to criticize myself so much,” she told the mag. “Now when I look in the mirror and there are things that I don’t see, I think about how much I’m going to like me in ten years.”
