Here’s Why Ryan Seacrest Looked So Different on Today’s Episode of ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’

Kelly Ripa isn’t the only one trying out a new look on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, just debuted a new, beardless face for today’s episode.

Just a few weeks after Ripa debuted her glasses on the morning show, Seacrest decided to go for a more clean-shaven appearance. And lucky for us, the Live producers shared a behind-the-scenes clip of the 45-year-old host showing off his fresh face and asked fans for their opinions. “Ryan shaved! Do you like him shaved or with a beard?” the caption read.

And it wasn’t long before followers and fans alike began sharing their thoughts in the comments section, the majority of which seemed to be #teamshaven. One fan affirmed, “Shaved for sure.”

However, there were a handful of users who prefer the bearded look. One user wrote, “Love him with the beard,” while another added, “Beard! But he should stop coloring it.” Tough crowd.

As we mentioned above, the new look comes shortly after his co-host and pal decided to ditch her contacts and instead opt for her a pair of black, square-framed glasses. Since then, she’s sported the eyewear a handful of times while filming (although, it looks like she was sans specs today).

In another video shared on the official Live account, Ripa could be heard joking about her glasses, stating she’s been happier not wearing them so she doesn’t have to see what’s been going on. “I’ve been happy not wearing them [her glasses],” she told a member of her staff. “It’s happier just not to see what's happening to me personally.”

We can’t to see what other looks these two pull out next.
