Ryan Seacrest Was Joined By a Special Guest Co-Host for Today’s ‘Live’

It’s been four months since Ali Wentworth made an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan and we were starting to worry that she would never return. Luckily, today she did.

On Monday, producers of the hit morning show started the week by sharing a behind-the-scenes clip on IG, which revealed that Wentworth was filling in for Kelly Ripa alongside Ryan Seacrest on today’s installment. “Ryan and guest cohost @therealaliwentworth!” the post’s caption read.

In the footage, announcer Deja Vu introduces the 45-year-old star and In Living Color actress as they walk arm-in-arm onto the stage. As they approach their seats, Wentworth does a little dance while Seacrest pulls out her chair for her (such a gentleman). “Thank you very much,” Seacrest says thanking the staff and crew for their applause. “Monday, November 8. Filling in for Kelly Ripa is Ali Wentworth. Very nice to see you.”

Fans and followers were thrilled to see the TV personality back on the Live stage. One user wrote in the comments, “Yay! Love when she cohosts.” A second person added, “Breath of fresh air!!!! Love Ali!”

Wentworth's last appearance as co-host was back in August when she sat in for Ripa for multiple days. In addition, in June, she was featured on another two episodes while Ripa had “college commitments” with her son, Joaquin.

We missed you, Ali.
