Now that the cat is out of the bag, and we finally know that Blake Lively is expecting her third child with Ryan Reynolds, the 42-year-old actor is opening up about his plans for Mother’s Day.
Reynolds recently attended the U.S. premiere of Detective Pikachu at Times Square in New York City. During an interview with People, the proud dad joked that he already has a full day planned for the annual holiday.
“I am going to keep it simple: Just some skydiving…maybe some skywriting,” he said. “I am going to see if I can get one of those blimps that say something nice.”
The Detective Pikachu star went on to discuss his relationship with Lively, who debuted her growing baby bump on the red carpet. Reynolds admitted that the secret to their successful marriage is coordinating their schedules, adding, “Blake and I don’t do movies at the same time. If she is doing a movie in Thailand and I am doing a movie in Vancouver we would just never see each other. We operate as a unit, and that works really well for us.”
