Ryan Gosling took his youngest daughter, Amada, to New York City for the very first time and, well, let’s just say it was a memorable experience.
On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Gosling revealed that he brought his wife, Eva Mendes, and two daughters, Esmeralda (3) and Amada (1), to New York City for his Saturday Night Live hosting gig last week. Since the trip marked Amada’s first time in the Big Apple, the La La Land actor wanted to make it super special. And special it was.
Gosling began, “I brought her to the window in the morning and I said, ‘Sweetheart, welcome to New York. And two cars went smash, and smoke started pouring out of the cars.”
The actor went on to reveal that little Amada even witnessed (and probably picked up on) a classic NYC greeting. He continued, “These two guys got out and I won’t repeat the hand gestures for you, but I just quickly covered her eyes and ran away from the window.”
We wholeheartedly second Kimmel’s response: “That’s a very New York experience.”
