The royal family just made a subtle—yet significant—change to their official website.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew’s Instagram accounts have been removed from the “social media” tabs on the royal family’s page. *Cue the sarcastic gasp*
Although they’re no longer mentioned, the trio are still technically active on Instagram. Prince Harry and Markle have a joint handle (@sussexroyal), while the Duke of York operates under his own page (@hrhthedukeofyork), though neither have posted anything as of late.
We’re not entirely surprised by the news, since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently announced that they’re stepping down as senior royals. (Prince Andrew did the same thing a few months later.)
