Three European Royal Families Just Participated in a Zoom Call & We Have Photos

Since the pandemic began, we can count on one hand the number of times we’ve seen a group of royals in one place (most recently Prince Philip’s funeral). However, a recent Zoom conference included not one, but three separate royal families of Europe. Unfortunately, this meeting did not include any members of Queen Elizabeth’s gang.

This week, the future monarchs of Sweden, Norway and Denmark, along with their spouses, participated in a video chat from their respective homes. The group meeting included Crown Princess Victoria and Crown Prince Daniel of Sweden, Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway and Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

Luckily, each family shared snaps from the major event on their official social media pages. According to the Danish Royal Palace’s post, the group discussed everything from their respective family lives and the pandemic to their patronages and the work they are all doing. The group ended the conversation by stating that they are looking forward to seeing one another in person.

Before COVID-19 lockdowns, the royals would frequently travel, conduct royal visits and attend events together. However, just like the British royal fam, they have continued to conduct their official duties virtually.

Now, if only we can get Prince William and Kate Middleton to join in on the next one.
