It’s never too early to pay homage to royal tradition. Just ask Kate Middleton and Prince William’s newborn

The little prince emerged from the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London yesterday snugly burrito-ed in a luxury knit baby shawl by G.H. Hurt & Son. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince William all wore knit shawls from the same brand for their own societal debuts.

Back in 2013, George was introduced to the British Commonwealth nuzzled in one of the company’s merino wool shawls.

And Princess Charlotte made her inaugural royal engagement wrapped in a bright white G.H. Hurt & Son baby shawl with a scalloped edge and different pattern in 2015.

Want to bring the royal tradition to your own nursery? A G.H. Hurt & Son baby shawl will set you back anywhere from $50 to $155.
