The Conner Family May Be Reuniting for a ‘Roseanne’ Revival!
First it was the Tanners, then the Gilmores; now the obnoxious but oh-so-lovable Conner family is in talks for a reboot. Twenty years after the ’90s hit family comedy aired for its final (and fatal) season, it looks like Roseanne will be making a comeback and in a major way!
Reportedly, an eight-episode limited series revival, similar to Will & Grace, is in the works. And get this: Many of the key cast members will be reprising their original roles. That means Roseanne Barr, John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert (Darlene) and Laurie Metcalf (Jackie Harris) will all be one, big happy (sometimes) Connor family again. As a bonus, Johnny Galecki of The Big Bang Theory is rumored to be returning as Darlene's boyfriend, David.
A premiere date and network or streaming service are still TBD. In the meantime, dust off your Levi’s, tie-dyed tees and denim jackets, because Roseanne and the fam just may add an additional statuette to their (18, NBD) Emmy collection.
