Rob Lowe Thanked Firefighters in the Sweetest Way for Saving His Home
’Tis the season of giving, and Rob Lowe knows that lending a helping hand and dishing up delicious food are the surest ways to show thanks.
Last night, the Grinder star expressed his immense gratitude for the Southern California firefighters who saved his Montecito, California, home by inviting them over for spaghetti and burgers. He captioned a photo of the makeshift mess hall, “Dinner for new friends at our house.”
How did Lowe make these new friends? Earlier in the day he donned his own fire suit and attempted to help keep the Thomas Fire flames at bay. “Helping earlier today. You do what you can, but when it’s time...you GO,” he captioned an Instagram post.
After a trying day of fighting fires, Lowe posed with his new team and wrote, “Thank you to all the crews from all over the country who stood tall and saved my town. #respect #gratitude.”
We can’t all offer hands-on help like Rob Lowe, but we can donate to help victims affected by the California wildfires. Either way, there’s some good karma coming Lowe’s way.
