The CW Teases Tonight’s Episode of ‘Riverdale’ with ‘Heathers: The Musical’ Clips

Last week on Riverdale, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) decided to channel her anger about her relationship with Toni (Vanessa Morgan) into the one thing she can control: the school musical. And now, we finally have a first look at tonight’s highly anticipated episode.

The CW just released two clips from this season’s musical installment, dedicated solely to Heathers: The Musical.

In the first video, Kevin (Casey Cott) can be seen explaining the musical to Principal Weatherbee (Peter Bryant) and Hermione (Marisol Nichols), who are understandably skeptical.

The second clip features the stars introducing their characters, and there’s no denying that Cheryl was born to play Heather Chandler.

Rounding out the Heathers cast are Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Betty (Lili Reinhart), who will play Heather McNamara and Heather Duke, respectively.

The Riverdale musical episode is becoming an annual tradition after the success of the Carrie production in season two. This year’s musical will feature nine different songs, and yes, everyone is expected to sing.

Will Heathers: The Musical live up to its predecessor? Guess we’ll have to wait until Riverdale airs tonight at 8 p.m. on The CW.
