The Hollywood Foreign Press Association unveiled the list of nominees for the 2023 Golden Globes on Monday. And among the major contenders, the Fenty Beauty founder earned herself a nom in the Best Original Song (Motion Picture) category for her song “Lift Me Up,” which was featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Other nominees in the category include: “Carolina” (Where the Crawdads Sing), “Ciao Papa” (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), “Hold My Hand” (Top Gun Maverick) and “Naatu Naatu” (RRR).

In celebration of her first-ever Golden Globes nomination, Rihanna shared an excited message on Twitter. Alongside a tweet from Variety with the list of nominees, she simply wrote, “God be showin out!” with a prayer hand and red heart emoji.

Many of her fans sent congratulatory messages in the comments section. One person wrote, “So proud of you!!” Another chimed in and said, “Showing up and showing out,” alongside a black heart emoji.

Rihanna made her grand return to music with her new single, “Lift Me Up,” marking six years since her last song release with the album “Anti.”

The “Work” singer’s involvement in the Wakanda soundtrack had been rumored for weeks prior. Before the song release, the film shared a cryptic message on social media showcasing the movie poster with the letter “R” in “Forever” having a moment to shine.

Congrats on your big nom, RiRi!
