‘Bridgerton’ Fans Just Learned Regé-Jean Page Appeared in ‘Harry Potter’ & They Are Shook

Bridgerton fans know him as the Duke of Hastings, but way before he became royalty on the racy new drama, Regé-Jean Page actually played a minor role in one of the Harry Potter films.

That's right—the 31-year-old actor had a brief cameo in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, during Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding scene. However, the moment goes by so quickly that if you blink, you just might miss it.

At the four-minute mark, we see Page's character standing next to Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Mrs. Weasley (Julie Walters) as Death Eaters crash the wedding reception.

Since Page was only an extra, he wasn't credited in the film. However, it didn't stop eagle-eyed fans from spotting the future duke and, understandably, freaking out. One fan tweeted, "THE Duke of Hastings attended Bill and Fleur's wedding. The Weasleys should be honoured by Your Grace's appearance." Another said, "REGÉ-JEAN WAS IN ONE OF THE MOVIES FROM HARRY POTTER SERIES???"

As it turns out, Page isn't the only Bridgerton star who's been to the Wizarding World. Fans have also figured out that Freddie Stroma, who appeared as Prince Friederich on the Netflix series, played a Hogwarts student named Cormac McLaggen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and the two-part adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. If you recall, he was on the Gryffindor Quidditch team and he briefly dated Hermione.

Looks like we've got more that enough reason to re-watch these Harry Potter films.
