Reese Witherspoon Embarrasses Son Deacon with TikTok Dance to New Single

Just because Reese Witherspoon’s 16-year-old son, Deacon, is now a recording artist, doesn’t mean she’s giving up on embarrassing him in public.

Over the weekend, the 44-year-old actress shared a video on social media in honor of Deacon’s newly released single “Long Run,” featuring fellow musician Nina Nesbitt.

In the clip, Witherspoon and Deacon are listening to the song as they lounge on the porch. Suddenly, the Little Fires Everywhere star comes up with the brilliant idea of choreographing a TikTok dance to “Long Run.”

“Deacon, I should make up a TikTok dance to this song,” she says. Deacon’s response? “Oh, god. No, Mom, no. No!”

Witherspoon proceeds to demonstrate a series of dance moves, which include a combination of Vogue poses and hip thrusts.

The actress captioned the post, “When your kid has his first single… you gotta dance! #longrun @deaconphillippe @ninanesbitt.”

We weren’t super surprised by the song’s release, since Deacon previously teased the news on Instagram. The 16-year-old shared the single’s black and white cover art, featuring him in a sweater with slicked-back hair.

This TikTok dance, on the other hand? Totally unexpected.
