Reese Witherspoon Just Posted a Super Rare Pic of Her Mom (& It’s Totally Relatable)

Teaching parents how to use technology is no easy feat these days. And according to one of Reese Witherspoon’s latest Instagram posts, she knows this struggle better than anyone.

Last weekend, the Little Fires Everywhere star shared a rare photo featuring her mom, Betty, on her personal Instagram account. As pointed out by her caption, Witherspoon used the occasion to try and get her mother to understand popular social media apps. “Nothing better than quality mother-daughter time explaining TikTok, internet memes and how the @reesesbookclub app works to my cute mom!” she captioned the snap.

In the photo, we see the duo sitting in either a living or dining room while looking at Witherspoon’s phone.

And we clearly weren’t the only ones who related to the post. The comments section quickly filled up with sentiments from fans and followers. One individual wrote, “Stars ARE really just like us,” while another added, “In your mother's day, we didn't have all these internet features (maybe not even the internet itself). I'm sure she'll catch on in no time.”

This is the first time we’ve got a snap of Witherspoon's mother since the 44-year-old actress shared a heartwarming tribute in honor of her mom's birthday, back in August. In that IG post, Witherspoon shared a selfie as well as an old newspaper clipping of her mom working as a nurse and a photo of her nursing student ID card from The Medical Units of the University of Tennessee.
