We LOVE podcasts (you could even go so far as to say we're “Royally Obsessed”). So when we heard classic footwear brand Reebok launched a new podcast focused on women in the sneaker industry, we ran to download all available episodes immediately.
The podcast, called Flipping the Game, focuses on females in the mostly male-dominated streetwear and athletic-wear industries. Host Scottie Beam discusses the origin of the Reebok Freestyle, the first athletic shoe made specifically for women back in 1982, the evolution of how sneaker fashion and athleisure has changed over the years and how women played one of the most fundamental roles in it all.
Oh, and did we mention it's only three 20-minute episodes? Yep, you could listen to the whole thing while working out in your fave tennis shoes (of course).
