Rachel Bilson is celebrating Rami Malek’s recent success the only way she knows how: with an embarrassing throwback photo.
Yesterday, the Hart of Dixie star, 37, poked fun at her longtime friend by sharing an old photo on Instagram, and we can’t look away.
She captioned the post, “Hey @ramimalek where’d you get that gold chain? #tbt #oscarworthy #dontforgetthelittlepeople.”
Bilson and Malek’s friendship dates all the way back to when they were classmates at Notre Dame High School, which is located in Sherman Oaks, California.
We can’t say we’re surprised by the timing of Bilson’s post, considering Malek recently received an Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for Bohemian Rhapsody.
The movie, which has already earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Dramatic Motion Picture, tells the real-life story of Queen’s lead singer, Freddie Mercury (played by Malek). It also stars Ben Hardy, Gwilym Lee, Mike Myers, Lucy Boynton, Joseph Mazzello, Allen Leech and Aidan Gillen.
