The Queen Candidly Reacts to Man’s Unusual Workout Routine

Queen Elizabeth couldn’t help but laugh when a man shared details about his bizarre workout routine during a recent video appearance.

Yesterday, the monarch, 94, joined a Zoom call and chatted with members of the British Armed Forces about the coronavirus pandemic. The conversation took a candid turn when a man named Lance Corporal Shanwayne Stephens told Her Majesty about his foolproof exercise regimen, which includes pushing a Mini Cooper (as in, a car) around his estate in Peterborough, England.

It all started when Stephens explained his background, saying, “I’m the pilot for the Jamaican bobsleigh team.”

“Gosh!” Queen Elizabeth responded. “Sounds like a very dangerous job.”

Stephens revealed that he’s used to “unorthodox” activities, especially since gyms are closed due to coronavirus. He added, “I’ve been pushing a car up and down the street.”

“Oh!” the monarch said with a laugh. “Well, I suppose that’s one way to train.”

After the appearance, Stephens told Hello! magazine that the queen seemed quite pleased with his story. “She had a big smile on her face when I said about pushing the car,” he said. “I think she was quite impressed with that. She was quite amused at my training regime.”

This mark’s the queen’s second Zoom appearance since the lockdown began. Other attendees on the call included representatives from the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, along with General Sir Nick Carter (Chief of the Defence Staff).

If photos suddenly surface of Queen Elizabeth sitting on top of a Mini Cooper, while her great-grandchildren push it around the grounds of Windsor Castle, we now know why.
