Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just revealed the official name of Baby Sussex via the @sussexroyal Instagram account. But to really gild the lily, they accompanied the name announcement with a photo capturing the moment their son met his royal grandparents.
Look how excited great grandma Liz is to spoil that baby to bits. In the background, Prince Philip and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, look on with happy smiles. (Is it just us, or does Harry look nervous? Maybe he’s wondering what the queen thinks of their name choice...)
“This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle,” the caption reads. “The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.”
When little Archie was born on Monday, Queen Elizabeth was reportedly “delighted with the news.” Meanwhile, Ragland was “overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild.” What we’re saying is, everyone is over-the-moon excited for a new member of the royal family (including us).
