Queen Elizabeth Attends Christening of Not One But *Two* of Her Great-Grandchildren

Queen Elizabeth had a family-filled weekend. The 95-year-old monarch, who has canceled several recent public appearances due to health concerns, attended a joint christening for two of the newest members of her family: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank and Lucas Tindall.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank and Zara and Mike Tindall held the special, combined event on Sunday at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor. According to People, also in attendance were Princess Anne, Sarah Furguson, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Unfortunately, there is no pic from the baptism (as of yet).

ICYMI, on Monday, February 8, the royal family announced that the Princess of York gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Eugenie marked the day with an Instagram post, which said, “We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank," followed by three blue heart emojis. “Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can't express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.⁣”

Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter, Zara, gave birth to her third child, a baby boy named Lucas, a month later. The 39-year-old mom and her husband, Mike, welcomed the newborn on the floor of their bathroom after they were unable to make it to the hospital in time. The couple, who also shares two daughters, 7-year-old Mia and 2-year-old Lena, welcomed their first son and received a note from the royal fam, reading, “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news and look forward to meeting their 10th Great Grandchild when circumstances allow."

Joint baptisms are our new favorite royal family event.
