Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden just shared a rare glimpse of her two children—Princess Estelle (9) and Prince Oscar (5)—who are growing up too fast.
The 44-year-old royal recently posted a Christmas photo on the family’s official Instagram account, featuring Estelle and Oscar getting in the holiday spirit. She also included throwback photos of her mom, Queen Silvia, and her siblings, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine, that were taken back in 1984.
In the first picture, Oscar is standing on the left and wearing a Santa costume, complete with a too-big hat. On the right, Estelle is holding a basket that’s filled with baked goods. If you’ll scroll through the slideshow, you’ll see two black-and-white image of Queen Silvia and her children.
This isn’t the first time Princess Victoria shared a photo of her family on social media. Earlier this year, the royal celebrated her birthday by holding a family photoshoot with her husband, Prince Daniel, and their kids in the garden of the summer palace Solliden.
Every year, Victoria spends her birthday by greeting members of the public and taking a carriage ride to the nearby Borgholm Castle for a concert surrounded by family and friends. But the photoshoot was an unexpected addition to her itinerary.
Crown Princess Victoria is the eldest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf. When he steps down from the throne, she will become the fourth female monarch in the country’s history.
