Princess Eugenie Is Releasing a Podcast in 2022—Here’s What We Know

This just in: Princess Eugenie is launching a podcast.

That’s right, the 31-year-old royal is teaming up with Julia de Boinville to develop a series for the charity they co-founded, The Anti-Slavery Collective.

According to Hello! magazine, Princess Eugenie announced the exciting news in a joint statement that was featured in the organization’s monthly newsletter. It not only recapped their 2021 accomplishments, but it also covered their goals for the New Year.

The statement read, “We were so excited to begin recording our long-awaited podcast this year, due to be released in 2022 so stay tuned!” They didn’t share any further details about what’s to come, but the podcast will likely raise awareness about The Anti-Slavery Collective’s mission.

Princess Eugenie launched The Anti-Slavery collective back in 2017 after she and de Boinville were inspired by their world travels. The pair explained the charity’s story in a candid Instagram post, writing, “We met on the bus on our way to a school trip and knew at once that this was just the beginning of a life-long friendship and adventure!”

They continued, “We were shocked to discover the extent to which slavery still exists. In fact, there are more enslaved people today than at any other point in history and, at any one time, someone is being trafficked within a mile of where you live. We often associate slavery with chains and shackles, but modern slavery is a hidden crime that is often hard to detect.”

When the time comes for the podcast launch, we’ll be one of the first to subscribe.
