Princess Eugenie Shares Never-Before-Seen Throwback Pic in Honor of Engagement Anniversary

Princess Eugenie is reminiscing about the day she said yes to becoming a wife!

The 29-year-old royal posted a sweet photo commemorating the two years since she and now-hubby Jack Brooksbank announced their engagement.

“On this day two years ago…Jack and I announced we were engaged,” she captioned the photo.

Buckingham Palace announced in January 2018 that Princess Eugenie (daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson and eighth in line to the throne) was engaged to her boyfriend of nearly seven years, Brooksbank. In their original engagement photo, you can spot Eugenie’s blush padparadscha sapphire ring encircled by diamonds (kinda similar to Kate Middleton’s sapphire engagement ring, no?). However, in this new, never-before-seen pic, we can’t quite see the ring as well.

The couple tied the knot in October 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle surrounded by family and friends. Her sister, Princess Beatrice, served as the maid of honor and Prince Charlotte and Prince George acted as flower girl and page boy.

The royal attendees were joined by 1,200 members of the public and representatives from organizations the couple supports, like the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Salvation Army and the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women.

We’ll never get tired of throwback wedding and engagement photos. Keep ’em coming, Eugenie.
