Princess Beatrice's ‘Intimate’ Wedding After-Party Even Included Glamping Pods

Looks like there was more to Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mappelli Mozzi’s secret wedding than just an intimate ceremony.

Last week, the royal couple surprised us all by quietly tying the knot surrounded by a small group family and friends. Buckingham Palace broke the news in a statement Friday, "The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11 a.m. on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines.”

And while we were given a bit of information about the ceremony we really didn’t know how the couple celebrated their nuptials afterward. That is, until now. According to People, the newlyweds invited a group of close to 30 guests to an outdoor party at the shared home of Beatrice’s parents, Royal Lodge.

“A few more people were there than the wedding, but it was still very small and intimate. It was all outdoors and under a tent with the same matching floral design and theme as the wedding,” a source told to the outlet.

Per the report, a variety of toasts were given by Prince Andrew (Beatrice’s father), the groom and his stepbrother, Alby Shale. Not to mention, the bridal party and their guests stayed in special "glamping" pods on the property.

OK, this is the kind of socially distanced party we were expecting (minus the glamping).
