Did Princess Beatrice Go on a Honeymoon? It Sure Looks Like It

The British royal family has been hush-hush about post-wedding details ever since they announced that Princess Beatrice secretly tied the knot with her beau, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. So, what’s next for the newlyweds?

As it turns out, the royal couple recently embarked on a “low-key honeymoon,” according to The Daily Mail. The news broke shortly after Princess Beatrice was spotted by tourists in the south of France with her new husband.

The bride was sitting in the passenger seat of a small car, which was being driven by Mozzi. Per reports, the vehicle was packed to the brim with suitcases, bags and other belongings, hinting their honeymoon may double as a road trip.

Princess Beatrice didn’t reveal any details about her honeymoon plans, which were likely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The couple probably chose to do a sightseeing tour from the comfort of their car, since airplane travel restrictions are at an all-time high.

We aren’t totally surprised by the news, since Princess Beatrice was forced to cancel her original wedding plans due to COVID-19. Although she held a socially distanced ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints, many expect her to host a larger celebration in the near future.

During the nuptials, Princess Beatrice wore an ivory Norman Hartnell dress that was previously donned by her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. She also donned the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, which is the same headpiece the monarch wore on her wedding day in 1947.

Au revoir!
