Prince William Reveals Sleep Shortage at the Palace Following Kate Middleton’s Pregnancy Announcement
Just one day after Kensington Palace announced Kate Middleton’s third pregnancy, Prince William says the royal family could really use some shut-eye.
In the wake of the big news, William attended his first public engagement, a policing and mental health conference in Oxford, England, today and shared, “There’s not much sleep going on at the moment.” We feel you, Will. We haven't been able to sleep (out of sheer excitement) either.
The father-to-be added, “We need Catherine to get over this first bit and then we can start celebrating. It’s always a bit anxious to start with, but she’s well.”
K-Middy's lack of sleep is likely due to her struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness), which also plagued her during her pregnancies with Prince George (four) and Princess Charlotte (two).
The Duchess of Cambridge is currently resting at Kensington Palace while she endures her first few months of pregnancy.
Despite Kate's complications, William shared our sentiments about the royal family's new addition, calling the pregnancy “very good news” in what may be the understatement of the century.
The royal family may be sleep deprived right now, but who doesn't love a cranky Prince George? In K-Middy we trust.
