This week in royal news that makes every single parent feel seen: Prince William acknowledged that even future kings need screen time limits and rules.

During a visit to the new BAFTA headquarters in London, which we discuss on the latest episode of the Royally Obsessed podcast, the Duke of Cambridge mentioned that Prince George, who’s now 8, is quite a fan of computer games in particular. As a result, William has to keep tabs—along with his wife Kate Middleton—and regulate screen time for George (and Charlotte and Louis, too) so it doesn’t get to be too much.

“At the moment, it’s trying to regulate the gaming...monitoring screen time,” William said at the event according to The Telegraph. “Got to be careful of that. They’re fascinated by it. George particularly. He’s more interested in it. The other two are a bit too small at the moment, but they love the films.”

Of course, William and Kate have both previously mentioned that the kids are into shows and movies like Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam, Paddington, The Lion King and more.

As for the computer games Prince George is dabbling in, no word on which ones just yet. But if the future king of England is inclined to go a bit overboard sometimes, the rest of us trying to keep our own kids in check can rest easy, right?
