Prince William Just Recreated Kate Middleton's Childhood Photo
Prince William low-key recreated one of Kate Middleton’s childhood photos, and—to no surprise—it was epic.
It all started when the prince traveled to Amman, Jordan, for a five-day royal tour of the Middle East. While there, Prince William visited the Roman ruins and posed for a picture in the same spot that Middleton did back in the ’80s.
The throwback pic features the duchess posing as a child with her dad, Michael, and her sister, Pippa.
According to Samia Khouri, director of museums at Jordan’s Department of Antiquities, “[Prince William] was very surprised when he saw the photo. He did not expect that. But that’s why he was here, because he wanted to take a photo at the same spot where Kate was photographed.”
Later that day, Prince William told attendees about his wife’s special connection to the country, adding, “My wife, Catherine, is very sorry she cannot be here with me so soon after the birth of our son Louis, but her family remembers very fondly the almost three years she spent here as a child when her father worked for British Airways in Amman.”
If she only knew then…
